NICU-specific prompts encourage them to keep themselves educated and involved. Trish explains, “Many NICU families without a journal like this wouldn’t know to ask about weight, medications, or lab tests. Some hospitals are great at sharing information, but some aren’t, and a lot of the time families have no idea what's going on.”
